Maxfield Parrish

Maxfield Parrish was born on July 25, 1870 and died on March 30, 1966. He was an American painter and illustrator. He used saturated hues and idealized neo-classical imagery. This is what made him famous. He helped shaped the Golden Age of illustration and paved the way to the future of American visual arts. He had innovative techniques that other artist had a hard time copying his work.
