James Montgomery Flagg

James Montgomery Flagg was born on June 18, 1877 and died on May 27, 1960. He was an American artist and illustrator. He did a variety of artwork from fine art to cartooning. He was best known for his propaganda posters. He had his illustrations accepted by national magazines by the time he was 12 years old. One of his famous painting was a poster for the United States Army recruitment.
